A huge thanks to all the exhibitors and visitors who attended last year’s festival. We are planning on holding next year’s festival on Saturday 16th June 2018 and we will be contacting potential exhibitors in December this year. Check back in early 2018 for further details.
2018 Festival will takes place in the Lido Park again and offers great entertainment for both local residents and visitors.
Here are some of the highlights:
Saturday 16 June, 10am – 5pm
Grand Opening starting at 10am
The festival will be opened at 10am in The Lido Park at the band stand by Steven Bailey-Carter finalist of the Great British Bake Off 2017 who will also be providing a food demonstration.
Food & Drink Stalls
Building on last year’s success we anticipate attracting around 100 local food and drink companies, organisations and charities to exhibit on Saturday 16 June, between 10am and 5pm.
Exhibitors stalls will be located in the Lido Park.
Come along, taste and buy all kinds of products from cheese to ice cream from cider to gin and jams to olives.
Cookery Demonstration Kitchen
Demonstrations will be held in the Lido Park.
Catering & Picnic Area
Come and buy hot food and cold drinks from a variety of stalls in the Lido Park in our Catering area. No need to get lunch or dinner – it will be all here.
Throughout the day there will be music, singing and other entertainment to make it a great day out for all the family. Come and see local singers and artists and treat the little ones to some children’s entertainment.
Next to the tennis courts in the Lido Park there will be a dedicated area for children including:
Green Ape Smoothie bike
Make your very own healthy, fruity smoothie.
Madame Zucchini – As seen on Britain’s Got Talent
Come and make fabulous Vegetable Creatures with Madame Zucchini to take home, and catch one of her funny shows starring Leek Skywalker & Cap’n Jack Marrow to name but two of her Vegetable Stars. You may even spy her roving about in her courgette costume! For all your Vegetable Entertainment needs!
