Festival events – for all the family

A huge thanks to all the exhibitors and visitors who attended last year’s festival. This year’s festival will be held on Saturday 16th June 2018, with a smaller event held on the Sunday, and will take place in the Lido Park again offering great entertainment for both local residents and visitors.

Saturday 16 June, 10am – 5pm

Grand Opening starting at 10am

The festival will be opened at 10am in The Lido Park at the band stand by Steven Carter-Bailey finalist of the Great British Bake Off 2017 who will also be providing a food demonstration.

Food & Drink Stalls

Building on last year’s success we anticipate attracting around 100 local food and drink companies, organisations and charities to exhibit on Saturday 16 June, between 10am and 5pm.

Exhibitors stalls will be located in the Lido Park.

Come along, taste and buy all kinds of products from cheese to ice cream from cider to gin and jams to olives.

Cookery Demonstration Kitchen

The Demonstration Kitchen will be in Lido Park in the marquee and will feature local chefs and Steven Carter-Bailey who will do two sessions featuring some of his TV recipes from The Great British Bake Off.

12noon – Steven Carter-Bailey recipes from The Great British Bake Off TV shows
1pm – Paul & Helen Harding Discover History: What people ate in Droitwich 2000 years ago.
2pm – Steven Carter-Bailey recipes from The Great British Bake Off TV shows (see above)
3pm – Guest chef
4pm – Pete Pedrick: Champagne Collection – talk & sampling champagne.

Catering & Picnic Area

Come and buy hot food and cold drinks from a variety of stalls in the Lido Park in our Catering area. No need to get lunch or dinner – it will be all here.


Throughout the day there will be music, singing and other entertainment to make it a great day out for all the family. Come and see local singers and artists and treat the little ones to some children’s entertainment.

Next to the tennis courts in the Lido Park there will be a dedicated area for children including:

Come and make fabulous Vegetable Creatures with Madame Zucchini to take home, and catch one of her funny shows starring Leek Skywalker & Cap’n Jack Marrow to name but two of her Vegetable Stars. You may even spy her roving about in her courgette costume! For all your Vegetable Entertainment needs!
